In support of those impacted by the ongoing bushfires around the country, Australian Sailing and the Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club, with the support of the Australian Sailing Team, Australia SailGP Team, Zhik and Ronstan, will be hosting a fundraising auction during the Presentation Ceremony of the 2020 Australian Youth Championships on the evening of Tuesday 14 January.

Some of the auction items will include:

• An afternoon cruise for 4 people on a division 1 Couta boat with Australian Sailing Team athlete Sam Phillips followed by dinner for 4 to the value of $500 in the club's restaurant
• A Gold Medal Australian Sailing Team training experience for two with Mat Belcher, Will Ryan and Victor Kovalenko, with a winner and a guest to join Victor on his coach boat for a training session with the Olympic Gold and Silver Medallists followed by a catered breakfast and debrief with the team at Middle Harbour Yacht Club
• An Australian Sailing Team signed merchandise package, with apparel and equipment signed by members of the team
• An Australia SailGP Team experience pack for two valued at over $1,500, including Australia SailGP Team backpacks, T-shirts, hats, Premium Shark Island tickets for both Friday and Saturday, a tour of the SailGP base which will include a meet and greet with some of the Australia SailGP team and one CRU Jacket
• Equipment and apparel packages from Zhik and Ronstan

Proceeds from the auction will go to the Red Cross Disaster and Recovery Fund.
