Boat Charter and Parts

If you are interested in chartering a boat for Sail Melbourne or require parts throughout the event we recommend NB Sailsports, nbsailsports.com.au

Reserve your charter here or contact NB Sailsports at charters@nbsailsports.com.au or +61 405 177207.

Do you have a boat/available for charter?

In an effort to assist and attract more interstate competitors, as well as bring you some money for a spare boat you may have not being used, we want to provide a match-making service for those who have boats (competing classes or suitable coach boats) with those looking to charter boats.

If you have a boat and would like us to pass on suitable requests that we receive please contact Nadine Tabak at nadine.tabak@sailing.org.au

Are you looking for a charter boat?

If you are looking to privately charter a boat to compete at the Sail Melbourne or a coach/support boat, please contact Nadine Tabak at nadine.tabak@sailing.org.au and we can put you in touch with available charter boat owners

Support Vessels

To gain access to the marina all support vessels are required to be registered with the event. Support vessel registration will be available from December 1st.

All support vessels are critical to the safe delivery of the regatta and in the case of emergency are important parts of on-water safety.  For this reason, all support vessels associated with the event need to register prior to the event.

This registration will provide you with competitor level access to the venue and berthing of your boat during the regatta.

For any berthing/access required outside of the dates of the event, please arrange this directly with RBYC Boating Manager. Colin Burgess-  boatingmanager@rbyc.org.au, 0418 240 313

There is no support vessels launching facilities at the venue.  The first option is 4.4km north of the venue at St Kilda Marina where there is full service marina / boating facility including public launching ramps and re-fuelling.

Option 1 - St Kilda Marina

The second option is 1.6km north of the venue.  We would only recommend small to medium RIB’s at this location.  All day paid trailer parking is available at this location.  Refer to maps.

Second Option – Elwood Boat Ramp at the end of North Rd. This ramp is unsuitable in strong westerly winds.
